What it sounds like
The MX Brown has a small bump partway down that you feel more than hear, and no click. Its sound is soft and close to a linear's, which is why it is so often recommended as a first mechanical switch for an office.
On ABS keycaps it is higher pitched; on PBT it is more muted. Next to a Holy Panda the difference is striking: the Brown's bump is much gentler, and its sound far quieter.
